So like I stated at some point on here, this blog is mainly a mirror of my website( http://videogamesreviews.siterubix.com/ ). So there's mostly blogs about video games and links to my site. That's not the point of this post though. This one falls under the realm of random/ personal thoughts.
Anyways I'm always researching random things just to find interesting things. Today I came across some health objects I'd never heard of but apparently they're popular items. Also ran across things i found humorous and have a hard time believing they exist. So I want to share these things with you so you can learn about them or if you already know what they are then you can better educate me on them. I love to learn interesting facts so don't be afraid to tell me about things in the comments.
So the first thing I ran across is Matcha. Matcha is apparently a green herbal tea with a lot of beneficial qualities. When I ran across the word I almost ignored it because I thought it was some kind of dating thing and unoriginal. Then i continued seeing it as I browsed health items I decided to actually look at it. From what I've read this stuff is amazing for you. I can't testify for it myself because I haven't used it and I hate green tea, which kinda sucks for me.. This tea claims to give an efficient energy boost throughout the day and make you feel revitalized. Also like all green tea it boosts your metabolism's calorie burning. While boosting your metabolism it claims to also reduce cravings and contain 137 times the amount of antioxidants compared to regular green tea. Lastly it claims to be able to reduce your stress due to containing an amino acid called L-Theanine. After reading these claims I decided to look at reviews left by previous customers of the tea and this is the general idea I got: 4 and half star rating on amazon with most reviews saying the product tastes great and that they could feel the effects of the tea in their body. They felt a constant energy level and didn't feel as hungry all the time. So if you like green tea and want some added health benefits it sounds like this is the tea for you!
Do you like the idea of increasing you brain capacity? Then maybe you've heard of Nootropics. Nootropics is a supplement that claims to help your brain. So Nootropics isn't a brand or anything but instead an over arching term used to describe medication or supplements that claim to improve cognitive abilities. One of the most common supplement classified as Nootropic is caffeine. Caffeine is known for improving alertness and focus temporarily for the user. There are many other types and several companies sell supplements containing several types that work together to promote better brain health.
So i'm nearing the end of this post so that I don't bore you too much with things I find interesting but I will leave you with a question you can answer in the comments if you want.
Q1. Would you ever live in a Tiny home? Every time I turn on my TV, I see stories about people living in tiny houses and loving it. Would that be something you would enjoy and why?
Q2. Why buy Beard oil? From what I've researched all beard oil does for the user is make their beard smell good. Does your beard smelling good play a major role in your life?
Q3. For the last random question: How many people wear Fitness Trackers? I myself own a FitBit Flex and run around all day in order to get my 10,000+ steps for the day. How many of you also have some kind of fitness tracker and do you find yourself running around just to satisfy your daily goal?
Thanks for reading!

Destiny
I played the Destiny beta years ago and I was hooked. The week it cam out I purchased it and regretted nothing. The story starts off with you being revived by your ghost who tells you he's been looking for you for a while. Once that cut-scene is over the action and fun begins.
Destiny is an online game so having friends that play or making new friends through the open world makes the game a lot more fun and exciting. Over the years the game has received multiple updates in the form of DLC such as " House of Wolves", "The Dark Below", and the most recent "The Taken King." Each DLC brought in new items and missions to play. "The Taken King" brought in entire new story missions and added new things to preexisting areas of the maps. It also changed the look of the game in order to make it more appeasing and reflect that it was now "year 2" as the game creators love to describe it.
Within Destiny there are missions that are known for being the hardest possible missions possible. These are the raids, they require a full team and a lot of patience and skills. I've played The vault of glass raid multiple times and may have only won once or twice. Playing these missions you can find treasure chests that contain some of the strongest gear in Destiny in order to become strong enough to take on later raids. Since raid missions are so important, the creators constantly evaluate them to make sure loopholes and other tricks are patched ensuring that the missions stay hard. Lastly there is one other game mode that can help you become a top player in destiny and that is the "Crucible". The Crucible is a PvP style game mode that pits you against other players. As you play you can receive awards such as armor or weapons. There is also several forms of in game currency and playing each game mode will award you some types of these currencies. In the last update the currency " Silver" was brought in. Silver is bought through micro-transactions of real money. With silver you can buy different emotes and other items for you character to give it some personal flair.
I hope you enjoy the review, look below for links to amazon to purchase you're own copy of Destiny.

Portal
Portal
Overview
Today for Throwback Thursday I'm going to review Portal one and two. Portal one came out October 9th, 2007. It was well received by critics and gamers because of its gameplay style and dark humor. The game is short but the story keeps the players intrigued.
Game Play
The game play is rather simple, you walk through the game solving puzzles that increase in difficulty as you progress on. After a few puzzles you pick up the portal gun that is used to solve the remaining puzzles in the game. The gun allows you create two portals that are connected and you can pass through. You can also pas objects through the portals in order to move them to where they're needed in the puzzle. While you're going through the puzzles you're being followed by an AI with a sarcastic dark attitude......which is my favorite part of the game to be honest.
Misc.
There's another "character" in Portal, although its not really a character per say. As you progress through the game you find a cube dubbed "companion cube". This cube is used to solve puzzles and is used in many jokes by the AI. A lot of players have fallen in love with companion cube. Upon the end of the Companion cube's usefulness the player has to incinerate the cube and its some what saddening to do.
All in all i give this game a 4 out of 5
Portal 2
Overview
Portal 2 came out April 19th 2011. It was also well accepted by audiences thanks to its dark humor and unique gameplay. You're once again solving puzzles and trying to escape the AI, but this time the AI isn't in control.
Gameplay
The gameplay in Portal two is not much different then the first one. There's a few new added features such as laser beams, tractor beams, and several other unique things to add difficulty to the puzzles. After a while you meet up with another AI that wants to defeat the previous AI. Lastly there is also a co-op mode in Portal two featuring two robots with half a portal gun each. The two players have to work together in order to beat puzzles levels.
I absolutely loved portal two's story and give the game a 5/5
I hope you enjoyed the reviews, if you want to play the games for yourself then click down below to get the game. Portal one needs to be downloaded from Steam so a steam card is below :)

THE CAKE IS A LIE...That is all.
SMITE
SMITE is a very poplar Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) featuring 70+ gods from several different religions. The gods are separated into different classes Assassin, Mage, Warrior, Hunter and Guardian. The classes give an idea of what base stats a god will have and how to play them. An example of this is that Guardians have high base defenses and low attacks, so most people continue to boost their defense in order to take damage for the team.
The reason I'm reviewing this game first is because its one of my favorite games of all time. I enjoy that each god has their own unique skills and abilities. The item system in the game allows for several hundred item combinations for the most diverse game experience. There are even a few different game modes to play and a game type that changes everyday. Character lvl up in the matches and reset every time the match is done. A character's rank shows how much you've played as that character and how well you've done. Unlocking ranks will occasionally reward you with the ability to unlock new "skins" which are alternate character models for the character. There is also player level which is the level of yourself. After each match you gain XP based on whether you win or lose and how well your team did and a few other things. As you level up the game will give you different rewards and rental skins for characters.

This game is an amazing game and is free to play, at first there are only a few gods to play but as you continue to play you'll gain favor ( in game currency) to unlock or rent gods that you don't currently own. The gods that are free to use will change weekly so that new players don't think the game is stagnant and quit. There is also another in game currency known as gems. Gems can be earned for leveling up, playing several days in a row, and by purchasing them. Gems can be used to unlock skins and gods also. Some skins can only be bought with gems so make sure to store up for the skins you want. Lastly you can buy a bundle item on the store called the "Smite ultimate god pack", this will unlock all the current gods and any future ones that come out.
Overall Smite is an amazing game for people that love PvP type games and love to play a lot of different game styles. If you think that anything I've said was interesting then make sure to go to http://www.smitegame.com/ and download it for free. If you have Xbox one or PS4 you can also play just buy searching SMITE.

Pokemon Yellow
Pokemon Yellow was my first handheld game ever and I thought that to be fitting enough to give it my First Throwback Thursday review.
Pokemon Yellow came out September 12th, 1998 and is still played to this very date. The game was developed by game freak and published by Nintendo. It was an enhanced version of earlier Pokemon games Blue and Red. Its full name Pokemon: Special Pikachu Edition referred to the fact that Pikachu started off as your main Pokemon at the beginning of the game instead of the original
three from previous games.
Pikachu was also different from all other Pokemon because he followed behind the player and even had a personality. If the trainer looked at Pikachu and pressed A a picture of Pikachu would appear on the screen and show what kind of mood Pikachu was in. If the trainer constantly leveled up Pikachu and didn't faint Pikachu would grow to love the trainer, but the opposite was true if the player ignored Pikachu or had him faint often.
Other then Pikachu the game contained the other original 151 Pokemon. Once you have your Pikachu at your side you set off to capture new Pokemon and defeat gyms in order to earn badges. Along the way defeat the evil team rocket in order to keep them from stealing Pokemon. At the end of your quest of defeating Gyms for badges you travel to defeat the Elite Four. These are harder then average trainers with Pokemon that are tough to beat. once you defeat him you are the champion, but don't stop there because there's a bit more to do.
Once you defeat the elite four there's a few things you can do before you think you've finished everything. One of the main things is go catch MewTwo. MewTwo is a powerful Pokemon and is the most legendary at the time the game came out. He can only be sought after once the Elite four is done and is hidden. Lastly there is finishing your Pokedex, there are also three other legendary Pokemon to find.
I hope you enjoyed the review and remember, " Gotta Catch Them All!"

Ello
So I came here looking for a way to get my new site out and one of the suggestions led me here. I never really thought about using a blog to refer back to my site because in a way my site i s a blog of its own. So in order to use this site I guess I'll make a short recap of my weekly activities from my site starting next week. This week I want to tell you all about what allowed me to create my site and a little information about both.
So I'm always looking for a way to make money, not because I'm poor but because I want to have extra money in order to pay debt off faster. So while doing an internet search for jobs online, I stumbled upon an amazing site. This site allowed me to create my site for free and host it without paying a cent. Along with the site there is amazing training that can be accessed for free so that you can build your site without confusion. That is the premises of Wealthy Affilate.
The site teaches you step by step how to create your website based of your niche. This niche can be whatever you find important. I chose video game because that's important to me and its something I know I can write about and discuss with others. I'll link to my site as an example so you can see an idea of what you can do My site.
For the first seven days you get extended free access that is very helpful. You get access to the community of other website builders who are always willing to offer you help. Once your seven days are up your access is a bit limited but still there.
There is also a premium member ship which is a monthly subscription. It will unlock user created training and keep unlimited access to the community. In the first week you join WA you get a special offer on your membership for the month. There are plenty of other reasons to join premium, but creating your site is totally doable with just a free account.
Thank you for reading, I hope at least one person looks at this post and decides to try, its a great feeling to own your own site.
